The fun with early growth rates
One of the fun things about just starting out is the dramatic growth rates. It doesn't yet take that much for us to double our traffic overnight, but it's still fun when it happens!
The weekend was pretty slow for our servers, but it's just mid-day now and we've already had more visitors than our busiest day last week. Yay! Of course it just makes it even more obvious how much work we have to do ...
Where does the traffic come from? A couple of percent of you have our site bookmarked or enter the address directly into the address bar (or from an email?). Practically everyone else comes from Google or another search engine (like AOL search) using the Google search results.

Woah - that was fast
Hi everyone – apologies for not having kept in touch here. We've been busy in our code and databases making the site better.
Much faster than we expected we've been getting tens of thousands of visits. Yay! Of course we knew we were making something neat and useful - eventually if not already - but it's still awesome to see that users actually come and use it!
Most days we do a release or two a day, but the last days we've been piling up a bunch of changes. Nothing earth-shattering, just more of the continuous improvements we keep doing!
We realize it doesn't mean much, but we enjoyed finally being included in the "global top 100,000" rank at Alexa. And in our breaks from fixing bugs and improving features we enjoy watching the daily 30-200% growth in our Google Analytics stats!
Alright, enough about us - more about you. ... in the next post; rather than spend time writing about what we're about to release, let's get back to getting it done and then we'll get back to talking about it!
